It's Election Day, do you know where your polling station is?

If you have already voted today, congratulations! It is your right and your responsibility as a citizen of this democracy. If you haven't voted, there is still time.

Judging by the long lines in Ohio, Virginia, and even here in New York City, this will be a record-breaking year. Experts say 130 million people could cast their votes before the polls close, possibly the highest number of votes in history.

This long and dramatic race has come to its final act. By the night's end, we will have a President-elect, and the face of our democracy will be changed. Alongside those paintings of the white male Presidents and Vice Presidents who've led this country since 1776...we will add either a black man or a white woman.

When the contest is behind us, a new challenge begins for the victor. But tonight, we celebrate democracy together as Americans.

Simply because Matt may have asked questions of Obama, great, he should. Noone else on network TV was. If Matt is Jewish, I would not blame him for questioning. I am a Catholic, & I picked up on the idea that Obama had said nothing about supporting Isreal. Even if his chief of staff is Jewish, why did he wait so long? & why was Obama so resistant to denounce Rev. Wright''s "God ***" America? And he loves America? And the mainstream press said NOTHING? Until Katie''s (like Charlie Gibson''s) shameless interview with Sarah, Katie''s career was in the toilet, and rightfully so. Katie, you were a snob on the Today Show as well. Katie thought she was "cute", smiling while asking questions that were designed to be traps and mean spirited. Does Katie really believe her fake smile deceived anyone? I originally was going to vote for Barac, but by the end of the campaign, I was so disgusted with the press in general, I had to vote for McCain. I have a hx of being a liberal democrat (female & of color). No longer. Shame on you, Katie. You must have really been desperate to stoop so low. While Happy about the election, I think this is the year that True Journalism died. With undeniable proof of Liberal media bias I think CBS should be ashamed at being in the tank for Obama. Even Hillary noticed, Bill Clinton noticed and SNL noticed. But you dont understand the corruption. Next to Putin stifling the Russian press and candidate opposition before his election, this is a close second. Next time make it fair.

Now....the democrats deserve what they get...unfortunately they take decent, white america with them. Part of our problem is the biased media...katie couric leads that pack of morons.
