Lately The White House Staff are more likely to be on People''s magazine cover for their actions and words more than in serious news.; Reply to this comment

by mg50cnet May 31, 2008 7:46 PM EDT: I am a regular viewer of the Evening News and generally appreciate Katie Couric''s performance. However, I think she, and the staff, really slipped up during her interview of Scott McClellan. I heard her ask him "Do you feel any sense of guilt that the Iraq war...resulted in the loss of life for thousands of American soldiers?" And I waited in vain for her to add a reference to the many thousands of Iraq lives lost and ruined. Beyond insensitivity, this kind of omission adds to the world''s perception of the U.S. as increasingly myopic and arrogant.
Please be more sensitive to the suffering this government chose to bring to Iraq.; Reply to this comment
