With the Holiday eating season just around the corner, we have to be really careful about what we eat at this time of year, especially so that we have enough room left for the really good stuff, and stuffing, later in the Holiday season. We should all be learning about new ways to eat healthy during the Holidays!
When you mentioned that McDonald''s had salads on the menu, I immediately dashed and pranced down to my local McDonald''s like Dasher and Prancer to follow your good health advice. And, as usual, you were right!
They have an assortment of salads and I chose a salad which had some great vegetables in it. I may even write to Senator Hillary and Senator Chuck about these great vegetables. And they should certainly support the bipartisan bill in the Senate that would have the government subsidize the farming of all those healthy red and green vegetables,including cucumbers,lettuce and tomatoes. It will help promote much better health through better & less expensive eating choices for all! And with a little dressing, the salad even tasted pretty good, too!
