by petersemkiw May 10, 2007 1:21 AM EDT: Dear Katie, "Meehowma!""How are you?" It is good advice not to have toddlers and infants spend too much time in front of the TV. Their brains are still developing and the television might interfere with their developing alpha,beta,and delta brain waves --- or whatever the heck Greek letters the brain waves on the EEG are called. TV sets are definitely not good babysitters. Better turn off those "brain twister" televisions and help those infants and toddlers get a "head start" actually using their brains on learning Chinese and on learning how to write poetry at the supermarket! Don't let them watch any TV --- except for the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric... That's you! Those infants and toddlers can never get enough of a good thing! And we older folks can certainly never ever get enough of watching you broadcasting on the CBS Evening News neither!; Reply to this comment
