I see you are looking for an end to the tragedy of war, "When will it end," you say. "There must be an end."

Well let me tell you about the Holy Spirit, the Force that conquors all war with peace. The Holy Spirit is the life giving force of all life, and knows every moment of every life form that has been called into existence from the birth of time.

The Holy Spirit has called a day that all forms of destruction will be called into Judgement, and judged either righteous or unholy. The unholy will be extiguished from existance.

The World will enjoy peace in its future, and prosperity will emerge in great form.

The World will take its place among the stars as a Heavenly Planet and become a way station for Heavenly Travelers.

This is the Word of the Lord.

no direct cooperation? wonder if any of saddams officers sold a few warheads out the back door?
we'll find out soon enough.

The modern weaponry of the Great War made the tactics of the Napoleonic era outdated. Unfortunately, the European generals continued mass attacks against well-entrenched positions (a tactic found to be lacking in the Civil War by American generals) until the end of what came to be known later as World War I.

Could modern medicine have patched up a victim of a machine gun or helped a victim of a mustard gas attack? Or has man found a cure for the Spanish Flu? I think not.

The world became a much more brutal place after 1914. It's repercussions are still being felt today in the former Yugoslavia and in the Middle East.

Do you remember when the armistice went into effect, Katie?
