by May 12, 2007 12:59 PM EDT: How far CBS News has fallen! From Murrow to Cronkite, CBS News had some of the greats, at one time. What destroyed it? The fall of the Fairness Doctrine? The Telecommunications Act of 1996? At what point did CBS decide that broadcasting rightwing propaganda and hiring a morning talk show host to sit in the chair of Walter Cronkite was an idea worth trying? It is hard to say, but CBS News Rightwing Entertainment is just a shadow of its former self.; Reply to this comment
