Playing The Trump Card
Here's publicity-shy mogul Donald Trump, quoted in the Toronto Star, explaining the continuation of his endless, soul-crushing "feud" with Rosie O'Donnell:

"The real question is, `When's it gonna stop?' And I believe it only stops with you folks and when the media in general stops asking the question. Every question I get is about Rosie."
Seriously, media: When's it gonna stop? By the way, here's Trump's "open letter" to O'Donnell, which was released to the media January 9th, but only as a nice gesture, jerks. And here are his recent comments about O'Donnell, which happened to be made to a group of television reporters, which was probably just a coincidence: "She's a terrible, disgusting human being -- not very smart, and she's got a lot of problems, to put it mildly." And here's where he told a reporter O'Donnell is a "fat slob," a comment that was likely made in confidence, and he probably didn't even want it in the paper, only the reporter had to go and write it, which was totally not cool. And as Radar noted, here's Trump attacking O'Donnell on Entertainment Tonight, where he probably didn't even know the camera was on.
Really, press corps: Leave the poor guy alone. Put away your cameras when he arrives at your television studios. Don't open those open letters. Quit assuming that just because Trump calls you out of the blue to make on the record comments that he wants them out in public. Hasn't the man suffered enough? Haven't we all?
