On tape: Baby puts fingers in president's mouth

(CBS News) 

President Obama got a Christmas Day surprise when a baby put his hand in the president's mouth.

Mr. Obama was posing for a photo with the baby's parents at the Marine Corps Base at Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii when it happened, during the president's holiday vacation.

Mr. Obama joked about it, saying he thought the baby just liked his "big nose," which caused the room to erupt in laughter.

According to the White House, the baby is 8 month old Cooper Wall Wagner, son of Capt. Greg Wagner, 25, and Meredith Wagner, 27.

Wagner has been in the Marines for 8 years.

The president and first lady Michelle Obama were visiting military families during their Christmas dinner of ham, mashed potatoes, veggies and apple pie.

most adults have the sense to easily take the arm of the child and remove the hand from the mouth, but our brilliant leader is to complex for normal remedies first he will blame it on the repubs, then he would pass a bailout package and activate a stimulus budget and it would have to be voted on by the congress and boehner would not want to pass it so the child's hand would be stuck in his mouth until he begged the American people to get behind his package pass my bill.

I admit I clicked on the link to this story (for that, admittedly, I am ashamed that my action will contribute attention to such a level of non-news and that it perpetuates stories like this drawing attention in the first place), but I was curious to see the level vitriolic hatred spewed by americans proclaming to have the market cornered on solutions to societal ills. It's just a child; doing what children do, with no more meaning than looking at a cloud and seeing a bunny rabbit. Now; I will go back under my rock with hopes and dreams of a more tolerant america.

If I didn't have such a large family here, lots of kids and grand kids, I'd just slip out and quietly leave this hateful country. I love the innocence of young people and their actions. We should all identify with a hand in the mouth from a little sweetie, and appreciate this uplifting story. Not us. Babies seem to iust LOVE President Obama. They are always smiling when he is near them. You CANNOT fool kids. They know a good-hearted soul when they are near one because those souls put out GOOD VIBES(Spirits). YouTube is full of these moments.
