BELLEFONTE, Pa. - Jerry Sandusky's attorney is seeking the phone numbers of the former Penn State coach's accusers in order to investigate the possibility they conspired against him, The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported.
Sandusky's lawyer, Joe Amendola, filed a motion in Centre County Common Pleas Court, requesting the court to press the state attorney general's office to provide materials, including copies of secret grand jury testimony as well as the phone numbers of the 10 alleged victims. The defense would need the phone numbers to find out if the accusers had contacted each other "at critical times during the commonwealth's investigation and prosecution in his cases."

"The defendant believes the accusers may have collaborated with each other in making these false accusations," wrote Amendola.
Amendola also said he's against the prosecutors' request to bring in a jury from outside Centre County to hear the case. He said he'll file his formal response this week.
There's a hearing set Friday to address Sandusky's demand for more details about the sexual abuse allegations against him. That hearing will also address his request to modify his bail conditions so he can have contact with his grandchildren.
The 68-year-old former Penn State defensive coordinator faces 52 criminal counts. He denies the allegations.
