I am so tired of people who cannot answer a simple question when asked and go rambling off onto something else. Convinces me their answer wouldn't be what we want to hear. Mr Madden is wrong when he says Americans are not interested in knowing what the truth is about Romney and Bain and his tax returns. Well now I am very, very interested. If there is nothing to hide then produce. Mr. Madden you do not decide what we want to know, we do. The water is going from murky to very muddy.

I recently turned on a radio and it was tuned to a NPR station. The first statement I heard was "it's power politics and what hasn't happened is governance." My first thought was that the topic was Washington and the US congress. Wrong ... the topic was Egypt.

During this mornings Face the Nation program is was expressed that nothing will happen in Washington until after the election in November because they want to hear the voters. Can we make it any more clear, we want you political bozos to "start cooperating in solving American problems". This means employment at home, higher income opportunities for middle America, the US deficit, American infrastructure, American education, etc. Blame-game politics is bozo economics and is killing the country we love.

Future Face the Nation programming should make it clear to participants that bozo politics and spin is no longer allowed a place at the table. There is absolutely no reason solving current American problems can't start today, simply because solving these issues is going to require cooperation from "all" parties involved. If they can't understand that, tell them to take their bozo intellect somewhere else.

Questions that need an answer:
What government programs does the candidate intend to cut to reduce the deficit?
Does the candidate intend to close tax loop-holes to help reduce the deficit?
Are you willing to tell special interest groups only interested in personal gain to take a hike?
What are the specifics for creating long term and higher income employment.?
Is American infrastructure part of the plan and what specific items are identified?
Is American education part of the plan and what specific items are identified?
Does your campaign believe a livable wage is essential to American employment?
What is the campaigns plan for development of American business?
What is the campaign stance on more emphasis on America and less emphasis abroad?
If changing health care is essential to the campaign, what specific changes would be pursued?
Etc., etc.

Interesting that Kevin Madden avoided answering most of the questions presented to him by Mr. Schieffer and once more fed the American public vague, rote dialogue. Yes, the public DOES want to know the truth behind the Bain issue - what is Romney hiding? We need to know if he is being honest in this respect. Having lived in Utah in the past we are well aware that the Canadians made the Salt Lake City Olympic uniforms (another outsourcing example for Romney). The public also needs to be aware that a vote for Romney is simply a vote for the LDS Church - there is no separation of church and state in Utah. Romney is likely being backed heavily by the church, financially and by the church's public organization tactics - he will be the perfect 'puppet' for the church's agenda. If you've ever lived in Utah you know this is true.

As I talk to Seniors about Paul Ryan's "Road to Prosperity" and Privatizing Medicare, giving Senior' Choice. Most Seniors, do Not know what Ryan has in store for them. The Seniors seem to think Medicare will continue the same way and no more out of their pocket to cover their Medical Bills. The issue of Medicare running out of money will magically disapper with the Ryan Medicare change, endorsed by Romney.

When I tell them, they will have to pay $6000 more a year out of their pocket, that the "choices they will be given in coverage" are nothing more than the Insurance Companies not paying much out of their pocket, but shifting the cost of health care to the Savings and Retirement funds of the Seniors.

Seniors have a "deer in the headlights". They just don't get bogged down with the "details" they need to understand to stop voting for Republicans who are taking away their benefits and taking their savings.

Ryan, Cantor, McConnell, Boehner, and Romney are "flim flaming" Seniors. Seniors need to wake up, and recognize that these guys are in the pocket of the 1% and could care less about the 99% and Seniors, who are being led to slaughter.

No, the Republicans just want everyone else to send their kids to War to protect their Outsourced plants in Countries around the world, the 99% to pay taxes to support their wars, do away with Social Programs to help the 99% namely Social Security and Medicare, take more and more of the wealth to their 1% buddies with 13.8% tax rates like Romney and Offshore accounts in the Cayman Islands to avoid taxes like Romney, and drive the Middle Class and Poor into Poverty.

You can tell Paul Ryan is a "Snake Oil Salesman", hopefully, people will Wake Up and realize that the last 30 years have been a plan, concocted by the Rich elite with mainly Republicans, for the Benefit of the 1% and point 1% at the expense of the rest of us.

THINK about it. Republicans don't give a darn about America, just how much money they can fleece from the rest of it.

Mr. Schieffer was sputtering at the Romney ad that had him asking about hope and change, and what really struck me was his comment that 'he'd take heat' over that ad. Heat from whom? Your network? Your liberal friends? The Obama campaign?

I wonder whether there may be a little fear there that the Obama campaign will turn their sights on Schieffer and his show and turn off any access that they have. Remember that it wasn't just McCain that Obama blasted in 2008, it was Hillary Clinton. She must be a really forgiving person to put aside the allegations towards her and Bill that they were racists. And then there were all those misogynistic things concerning her that popped up from somewhere.

Obama's campaign know how to decimate. I have yet to see that they know how to nurture and grow the country.

Don't worry Mr. Schieffer, anyone who has watched you over the past 4 years knows that you are in Obama's court. Surely, you will not be held responsible from the blast furnace the Obama campaign keeps stoked against all 'enemies.

Your wrong about Mr. Schieffer. You need to wise up and realize that the Republican Party is so far off the deep end to cater to the Wealthy only and care less about America.

I worked as a leadership volunteer for 15 years, until I realized Republicans are nothing more than Rich Guys who will stoop to any level to take from the People of America and would be very happy if America was an Plutocracy or Oligarchy.

Start Reading more and turn off Fox News and Limbaugh.

Being a Washington reporter Mr. Schieffer, isn't it getting very tiring listening to these Republicans that you have on your show repeating verbatim the same lines over and over? Their 'plans' involve no more than eliminating programs and cutting taxes. There is nothing specific ever mentioned. Maybe you should go after real stories in Washington and let these guys stew in their own rhetoric for awhile.

So tired of hearing about Romney and Bain Capital; As an independent, my vote will go to the candidate who best seems to have a plan to get us out of this economic disaster. Until the talk turns to the economy and job creation, which neither Obama or Romney have addressed, I wont make a decision.
I dont care about planned parenthood, what Romney does with his money or anything, ANYTHING except our economy!

Well if you remember, there was an administration or many before Obama and didn't these folks who were administering the nation before him have something to to with the national debt, our relentless wars and nation building and didn't Obama inherit some of the mess we are in? We need to take a look at the big picture and if we don't, we will continue along the same path. What do you think about Republicans in Congress who have publicly stated they will do everything in their power to cause Obama Administration to fail? In Congress the Republicans have stifled the process of checks and balances by submitting the same bill 33 times to kill Obama Care. The 112th Congress is the least performing of all previous Congresses. We have to get the big picture and that requires looking at even small issues.

Slowneasy, I recognize in totality that Obama inherited much of this. I have no love for the previous administrations that caused the problems we now find ourselves in. There's plenty of blame to go around.
As I stated, these problems need to be solved and Ive heard nothing from Obama regarding this, nor from Romney. When one of them steps forward and presents ideas, plans that seem realistic and appropriate I can then make a decsion.
The Repubs didnt stop Obama his first 2 years and he did nothing to help with the economy so that dog dont hunt.
I want results., from whomever it may be.
The jury is still out on Romney, but the verdict is almost in on Obama.

Look to see why the economy is in the toilet. In September 2010, the Republican US Senate 45 members voted as a "Block" to kill a bill that would have removed the tax incentives of closing plants in the USA and Offshoring Jobs of the 800 Multinationals.

The US Senate has Filibustered with One Objective, keep the Economy in the toilet so guys like you, that "bottom line" issues like the Economy so the Republicans can continue the 30 year policies, like flat wages, and shift of wealth to the Rich point 1% 150,000 families.

The "Devil is in the Details". Read books like "Reitrement Heist of Ellen Shultz, the Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission report, "Deadly Spin, The Great American Stickup, It's the Middle Class Stupid, Econned, and others. Nice side effect are the research footnotes in these books.

Read just some of them, get away from the 5 minute Sound bites from the Entertainment News, and you will get a good picture of why the USA has been slow to recover. Look no further than the Republican Controlled House and the Filibustering Republicans in the US Senate.

Kevin Madden Romney's Senior Advisor on Face The Nation referred to Romney's singing of America as God Bless America. Even I a lefty like myself knows the titles of our patriotic songs. This is a song I grew up singing in school public schools. Maybe that's where there is a difference. Maybe these folks didn't go to public schools and missed this part of our history. Is this mistake indicative of being out of touch with the country on the Romney Campaign and further up the ladder with Mitt himself or just a simple fact of being so intent on winning the election that some simple details of our country itself have slipped by the wayside?
