When President Obama said in a recent interview that he goes skeet shooting "all the time" at Camp David, some wondered why he never disclosed this nugget before and why nobody has seen evidence of his riflery.
"How often does the president go skeet shooting, and are there photographs of him doing so?" a reporter asked White House press secretary Jay Carney the day after the president's remarks on skeet shooting.
Carney laughed and said, "I'm not sure how often he's done that," but the reporter would not be deterred.

"Why haven't we heard about it before?" she asked.
But before the "skeet truther" brigade could achieve liftoff, the White House today released a photo of President Obama shooting skeet at Camp David on his birthday last year, Aug. 4, 2012.
The president's comments about skeet shooting, which involves firing a gun at airborne clay disks, came during an interview with the New Republic about gun violence in which Mr. Obama, who has proposed a raft of new gun control measures, advised supporters of gun control to "do a little more listening" to Second Amendment advocates.
"I have a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations," he said. "And I think those who dismiss that out of hand make a big mistake."
Asked whether he's ever shot a gun, Mr. Obama said, "Yes, in fact, up at Camp David, we do skeet shooting all the time...Not the girls, but oftentimes guests of mine go up there."

This has nothing to do with 2nd amendment rights. This made my left leaning, Obama loving daughter roll her eyes.

(Mental Health Registry)
Gun control, an important aspect they are raising is a Mental Health Registry. Mental health background checked is now reworded to Mental Health Screening.
In the near future when someone goes for counseling, will the mental health specialists advise clients of their rights and any mention of violence must be reported to the federal government?
It damages HIPPA, along with doctor and patient confidentiality. People afraid of becoming listed on the new Mental Health Registry will be less likely to seek help.
Will police have access to this new Mental Health Registry? Being treated for PTSD after returning from the Middle East? Image, being pulled over for a bad taillight and suddenly finding your car surrounded by police with weapons pointed.
Will law enforcement know by running plates and or government issued ID if someone is being treated for depression, anxiety or he / she are seeing a marriage counselor?
Deceived, many forfeit their individulity and freedom.
