As debate builds over the White House's recent gun control proposals, President Obama is raising eyebrows anew with another gun-related comment: In an interview with the New Republic released yesterday, Mr. Obama claimed he goes skeet shooting "all the time" during his time at Camp David.

Not everyone, it would seem, believes him.

In a White House briefing today, one reporter asked about the frequency with which Mr. Obama dusts off his shotgun for the sport, which involves shooting clay disks mid-air.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney laughed and said he didn't know.

"I would refer you simply to his comments," he said. "I don't know how often - he does go to Camp David with some regularity but I'm not sure how often he's done that."

"Is there a photograph of him doing it?" the reporter pressed.

"There may be, but I haven't seen it," Carney said, telling the reporter that the reason Mr. Obama's alleged skeet shooting habit has not been well-publicized is because "when he goes to Camp David he goes to spend time with his family and friends and relax, not to produce photo opps."

Do like Seattle. People should sell their guns to Obama so that Obama can donate them to the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt instead of expensive F-16s.

F-16s in Muslim Brotherhood hands would be bad for Israel, plus Obama is busted so he could only borrow Chinese money that would have to be paid back by American children later, to pay for the F-16s.

The mentally ill and criminals would be first in line to sell their guns to Obama because they could use the money because they lost their jobs.

I would hope that the Secret Service would back down on that if they did, at least for Obama. I mean, everybody loves him, so there's nothing to fear....hell, have Dick Cheney over to shoot with you Obama....give him a few drinks and he's ready to go, but don't use that sissy birdshot stuff, use 12 gauge slugs, more of a challenge wouldn't you say? Sure...why not?
