NRA slams Obama's inauguration speech

National Rifle Association Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre calls on Congress to pass a law putting armed police officers in every school in America during a news conference at the Willard Hotel December 21, 2012 in Washington, D.C.

Wayne LaPierre, the CEO of the National Rifle Association, said President Obama's inaugural address was an attack on law-abiding gun owners, insisting that the president wants to take away people's guns.

Reacting to Mr. Obama's line,"We cannot mistake absolutism for principle," LaPierre said the president "wants to turn absolutism into a dirty word" and said the president is using it as another word for "extremism."

The outspoken head of the NRA has mounted a full-throated defense in recent weeks against any effort to invoke stricter gun laws. He said the president thinks anyone who disagrees with him is an "absolutist" and that he "doesn't agree with the freedoms [gun owners] cherish."

After the massacre in Newtown, Conn., where 27 people were killed, the president proposed a series of gun-related executive orders and congressional actions, including a ban on assault weapons, limits on high-capacity magazine clips and the creation of a national database of gun transactions.

LaPierre took issue with each of the proposals, including what he called a "massive federal [gun] registry." He said its only purpose is to "tax 'em or take 'em."

Invoking an anti-government thread in his speech, LaPierre said political leaders "take for themselves" and that gun owners "believe in the right to defend ourselves with semiautomatic firearm technology."

LaPierre's speech to a group of hunting and wildlife enthusiasts in Reno, Nev., Tuesday was devoted entirely to slamming the president's gun control proposals, saying that law-abiding citizens would have fewer rights than criminals, political "elites and their bodyguards."

Look. At any time throughout his presidency and especially at this time when there are reasoned, common sense proposals regarding gun and clip limits, the NRA would slam President Obama for which way it's hanging today or the way he brushes his teeth.

Their response is not worthy of any special notice what-so-ever.

nra board member & poacher & coward "machine gun" sucker...

The outdoor channel filmed ted nugent as he hunted a buck too young to be legally hunted.
The episode aired in February 2010 on the show spirit of the wild. California Officials investigated this incident and found that the immature deer had been eating bait called C'mere Deer. Baiting wildlife is illegal in California. The coward was brought up on 11 charges of poaching, to which he pleaded no contest. He was fined $1,750.

(coward) see nugent....has once again pled guilty on April 20, 2012 to illegal hunting. This time, he illegally killed a black bear in southern Alaska. And like his previous poaching incident, he filmed and broadcast the events for his television show, "spirit of the wild" which aired December 2008.
As a result of the plea agreement, nugent (see coward) will pay a $10,000 fine and be on probation for two years. He'll also be banned from hunting or fishing in Alaska or on any U.S. Forest Service land nationwide for one year.

Further scrutiny by US Fish and Game of all 150 plus episodes of spirit of the wild are expected to yield more hunting violations..

Renegade outfitter, ex-partner of karl malone (nra board member) faces federal prison

sidney r. davis
"In 2006, he garnered national attention by accusing his one-time business partner, former Utah Jazz basketball star karl "the mailman" malone, of bribery.

davis has operated Trail Creek Lodge near Soda Springs since 1993, but he had his outfitting and guiding license revoked in 1996 after violating Idaho regulations.

In this latest case, davis admitted he illegally guided a mule deer hunt in October 2008"

"He (davis) went after malone in 2006, alleging the two-time nba most-valuable player offered davis $25,000 to cover for him in a federal investigation into a 1998 hunt. malone took part in the allegedly illegal hunt, but was never charged"

1997
"The family considered by fish and wildlife managers as among the state's most notorious poachers continues to operate a successful hunting-guide business in southern Utah"

"milton "val" robb and his four sons, who collectively operate the Red Creek Outfitters in Paragonah, have attracted such high-profile hunters as Utah Jazz star karl malone. They've also managed, over the past 16 years, to amass a total of 30 citations for violating wildlife laws"

"The robbs guided malone's cougar hunt in southern Utah and videotaped the nba's most valuable player bagging his cougar after the robbs' dogs cornered it in a cave. The footage was shown on national television during a halftime interview last season on nbc. malone also used the robbs to guide him on a successful bear hunt in the La Sal Mountains.

It is cougar-hunting that has caused the robbs the most grief. Authorities say their unorthodox hunting techniques show why they should not have their licenses returned any time soon.

It was just days after brandon and val robb had their cougar licenses revoked that the outfitters were allegedly involved in "bridling" a cougar so a client could kill it.

The cougar was choked senseless with a rope, bitten by hounds and dragged from one hunting unit to another where the robbs' client had a permit to shoot one"

Huh, and morons spew Wolves are a problem...
Wolves pale in comparison to greed driven morons killing anything and everything for profit...& bragging rights..

(International Hunting and Conservation Awards) How many poachers unethical "hunters" were at the event getting awards..
Most of the big names in the tv hunting land have to keep the myths of being the bestest of the best "hunter" so the $ keeps rolling in..

Illegal baiting, poaching....armies of helpers to pressure, chase the "game" into shooting lanes so the rich can get a kill shot...Outfitters in the lower 48 flying airplanes, paraplanes...gps locating "trophies" while having hunters on their way for the kill at the same time..
Big $, "bonuses" paid out by clients to the outfitters, not if but when all unethical practices pay off with a trophy on the ground..
Many an outfitter been caught poaching trophy big game on their Winter Ranges...

Perfect Kill shots needed on film pays real good..Good thing video editing is handy...when the thought of $ takes over and affects the "hunters" ability to live up to his fake reputation...

When President Obama supply's weapons to Syria and they are used to kill our ambassador, the gun haters give him a free pass. When regime supply weapons to gun runners in Mexico the media gives him a free pass.

When He wants to disarm the average American citizen who has a Constitutional right you love him.

You might want to read both sides of the story.

Not hardly. Go ahead and wear some dead netwon children pendants around your neck when you sport those 100 round drums.
