Neither Bush will attend Obama's inauguration

A source familiar with the inaugural planning tells CBS News that neither former President George H.W. Bush nor former President George W. Bush will be attending President Obama's second inauguration on Monday.

The 88-year-old George H.W. Bush has been battling health issues and was recently released from the hospital after spending weeks recovering from bronchitis.  It's unclear as to why George W. Bush won't be in D.C. for the event.

The same source tells CBS News that both former presidents Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton will be in attendance.

Interestingly, this will be the first inauguration since 1989 when the losing presidential candidate won't be in attendance.  In 1993, 1997, 2001, 2005 and 2009, the losing candidate was either a sitting president, vice president or senator.  Mitt Romney, who lost to Mr. Obama in November, and the 1988 also-ran, former Gov. Michael Dukakis, D-Mass., are not elected officials serving in D.C, therefore, there's no official role for them in the inaugural ceremonies.

And now the rest of the story.

Obama campaign co-chairman / Mayor Julian Castro, San Antonio TX City Attorney Michael Bernard (brother of White House Social Secretary Jeremy Bernard), City Manager Sheryl Sculley, Police Chief McManus and other city "leaders" are at the center of a Federal Lawsuit being filed by the Texas Civil Rights Project of Austin TX.

TPR / KSTX has reported that the City of San Antonio TX is being sued in Federal Court by the Texas Civil Rights Project for illegally banning law-abiding citizens from City Hall and public Council meetings for investigating/reporting an ONGOING criminal conspiracy to hide public/police corruption, grant fraud, theft of public funds, bond fraud, a "fraud upon our courts" financed with tax dollars to hide the crimes, etc. thus violating their Constitutional rights.

Kinda like the DNC in Charlotte. The Lowes speedway was to be used, couldn't fill it. Then the football stadium, couldn't fill it. So they used the basketball court. Lots of empty seats there. LOL
I bet things will be kinda empty in Washington Monday also. There will be lots of 99%'ers p-ing and craping on the police cars though.
