Former vice presidential nominee Rep. Paul Ryan, R-Wis., isn't ruling out a future bid for the White House, but neither is he ready to make any definitive statements about his plans for 2016.

"I've decided not to decide," he told the Wisconsin State Journal, when asked about the possibility of a 2016 bid.

Ryan, who ran alongside Mitt Romney to challenge President Obama for the White House, is among several Republicans believed to be eying the 2016 contest. But for now, he says he's currently focused on the national economy and trying to "avoid a debt crisis."

the Tea Party veto on the nominating process will ensure that the republican nominee will be a loser

I think losing Wisconsin by almost 7% as VP candidate is pretty telling....

....as is losing your home town of Janesville by 11% (first time losing there), and losing home Rock County.

The only reason Mr Ryan kept his House seat was because of clever gerrymandering by the GOP that brought a big chunk of Republican-heavy Waukesha County into his district.

People in Wisconsin have figured out who Mr Ryan really is, and that is NOT a good thing.

I want him to produce his REAL voter-registration card, not the one that says he's a Republican. Have him show us the card that proves he's a secretly-registered Democrat whose agenda is to guarantee 8 more years of Republican irrelevance.

Then again, just let him keep up the facade. The Dems won't even have to campaign. Clinton/Cuomo anyone?

Ryan's vote against Sandy relief will make him popular with the right wing Tea Baggers but rightly doom his effort in the General Election. With his vote he's already lost swing states New Hampshire and Virginia plus dashed any thoughts of winning Pennsylvania or New Jersey.

Amazing. Random, unpunctuated, lowercase ramblings morph into misspelled, unpunctuated SHOUTING RAVINGS in the course of one post.

Turn off Fox. Take your meds and seek help so you don't have to listen to the voices that are controlling you.

In what world did you spent last fall. Very sad to say but the republicans are still going down in popularity even after the election. People like the president (I know you can't grasp that) and anybody that runs on the democratic ticket already has a lead.

When you get a close look at him, he's a real nutjob who would ruin this country.Ayn Rand is not what this country is about. Her philosophy is more in line with Hitler's than with any American. Ryan is just another brownshirt who's smart enough to hide his dark side.
