White House holiday card features Bo
whitehouse.gov
It's been unseasonably warm in Washington this fall, with nary a snowflake to be seen as of yet, but you wouldn't know it by looking at the White House's holiday card.
This year's card features Bo, the Obama family dog, trotting through a snowy White House South Lawn as snowflakes fall around him. The card was designed by artist Larassa Kabel of Des Moines, Iowa, who creates photorealistic prints, paintings and drawings. Kabel's work is featured in several private and corporate collections, including collections at Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield and the World Food Prize headquarters. Larassa herself is a dog owner, which is why she chose to feature Bo.
