So, what's Mitt Romney been up to?

What does a guy who just lost a presidential election do in the weeks after ending a long, hard-fought campaign?  In Mitt Romney's case, it seems he's trying to move on and enjoy his newfound downtime.

Today, Romney posted on his official Facebook page a photo of himself and his wife, Ann Romney, in which he looks more the part of a guy on vacation and less like the buttoned-up businessman/presidential candidate the public saw during the campaign.

The photo features Romney, hair tousled and t-shirt clad, hugging Ann Romney with the caption, "Hope everyone had a great Thanskgiving! Much to be thankful for this year."

On Tuesday, Romney and his brood were spotted  at Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif., by dozens of people who posted pictures and comments on Twitter.

"Mitt Romney rockin' a tire at Disneyland's California Adventure," @stansell wrote on Twitter.

"Romney is at Disneyland today, my sister saw him an I think she had a slight heart attack," tweeted Maddie Skala (@maddiemoo_24).

"Just sat right next to Mitt Romney and his family at Disneyland!" wrote Mike Esparza (@MikeyShowMikey).

Poking a little fun at the former candidate's visit to Disneyland, the Weekly World News, a tabloid that's a purveyor of fictional "news", cooked up a story headlined, "Mitt Romney Hired as President of Disneyland."

Really nice picture to share. That said, the election is over and the right person won-President Obama reelected.

I hope he enjoys himself. The wrong man was elected period. Mitt was the right person to fix the Obama mess.

VICTORYDEM2012 Whatever healthcare he'd "put in" would be less expensive than Obamacare and there wouldn't be a mandate in it that forced it on us whether we wanted it or not! The Republicans in congress would see to that!

Fortunately the MAJORITY of American voters disagreed with you. They decided that President Obama was in fact the right person to continue cleaning up the Republican mess. Hopefully Republicans will soon accept this and not take us down another path that will end up slowing our recovery even more than they have the last four years.

Interesting that Romney has apparently decided to retire to Blueland rather than to one of his loyal Red States.

He apparently plans to make the La Jolla house (the one with the famous car elevator) his primary residence.

Maybe he will get involced in California politics?

Good luck with making the ossified California GOP relevant, Mitt!

Who cares, just as long as the mormon cultist fades into the ether as a distant memory like other poor GOP choices.

Election is over so leave Romneys alone. Hopefully republicans could learn from this election that any politician or businessman/woman who outsources jobs and tries every thing to avoid taxes could not be elected regardless of how loud he/she talks about job creation and chastises countries he/she outsourced jobs to.

spinner-or-winner Not nearly as loudly as you so-called "winners" would have whined if the election had gone the other way!

You "winners" are a bunch of big, spoiled bratty babies who can't stand even the thought of losing anything. If you had lost you would have been still on your floors kicking and screaming! At least us "losers" aren't throwing tantrums like you would be!

You are showing that you have the mind of a child by the fact that you're still gloating! Undisciplined children gloat! Adults are supposed to be past that age!

Had Romney talked more about protecting American jobs earlier on in the campaign, rather than waiting for the last two presidential debates, I think voters would have thought that he had more substance and might actually be on the side of the middle class. When he finally talked about the use of tariffs, leveling the playing field, China's unethical trade practices and bringing manufacturing back to the USA is when I finally decided to vote for him. Before that, I couldn't believe what a joke he was and felt that he was the exact opposite of what middle class Americans (US Citizens) needed. It was also hard to get around Bain and that 47% comment, which just confirmed even more that he was who he was we thought he was. He came across completely different during the debates than he did during the bulk of his campaign. But even though I voted for him, I can't say that I really trusted him to enact tariffs and other measures that would protect the jobs of US citizens. Also his comment that we should automatically attach a green card to every foreigner's college diploma was an indication of how he thinks as well.

7lucky: Stupid comment, particularly since he's part of the problem outsourcing jobs overseas then stashing his capital gains in the Cayman Islands. If you advocate or practice this reckless behavior then you're as much a traitor to this country as Romney.

7luck: Wow... losing your cool there pal, pretending to know a perfect stranger. Better get a grip before you end up in an asylum. Since I am a college graduate I can enter debates peacefully and with more than an iota of decorum. Anger makes a person far too old before their time, so relax and chill.

As a resident of Utah and yes there are some of us that are not Mormon that live in this State. 2 Catholic Priests came to Utah nearly 100 years before the Mormons, too bad the Mormons have given this State such a bad rep. I am amazed at how the local LDS folks think that Romney is from Utah...He nor has his family have ever lived here. The behavior of the LDS people here at the loss of Romney is beyond childish behavior. The behavior of the Utah LDS people just confirms what the "outside world" thinks of Utah. Is this not the 21st Century? You do not know how lucky the USA is to have this Prima Donna pushed down the street. If he had won, his band of LDS players would have taken over. For example, form Utah Governor Mike L, while in office here, he would have prayer and "laying on the hands" during working hours in the Governor's office. Can you imagine what would have happened in the White House? I find it also interesting that the locals here were fasting for the win of Romney,,,,tough luck....should have just eaten instead. Our last Governor John Huntsman who also tryed for the White House...it is so interesting how he had distanced himself from Utah and all its ties.....I do not blame him. For those of you who say...leave Utah....my family has been here over 100 years...its my home too. I am just ashamed at how many Utah people have acted, but then again am i really? Well Romney and Gang.....shuffle off....and try and be a decent loser not a cry baby
