SEFFNER, Fla. Florida Sen. Marco Rubio's 12-year-old daughter suffered a head injury in an accident in Miami on Saturday, prompting the lawmaker to leave Mitt Romney's motorcade along a highway near here.
The senator's office said in a statement that while visiting with classmates in a private gated community, Amanda Rubio was a passenger on a golf cart involved in a collision. She was airlifted to Miami Children's Hospital, where she was listed in fair condition on Saturday night.
Rubio was notified of the accident after coming off stage while campaigning with Romney in Kissimmee, Fla. He then headed to Miami after being notified shortly before 7 p.m.
Romney spokesman Rick Gorka said the freshman GOP senator took an earlier flight from Tampa to Miami than he had originally planned. Gorka said it would have taken more time to get that plane to the airport in Kissimmee, so he decided to stay in the motorcade and have him break off before it would turn onto Interstate 75.

My two grandaughters were killed in a auto crash so I know the terrible fear when one gets a phone call about a accident.

My prayers for the Rubio family.
Men and women will continue to die in wars for politicians who behind doors promote them for future profits. The earth will continue to suffer until politicians accept the total consensus from scientist, that the earth is warning. These warnings come in the way of droughts, earthquakes, tsunamis, huge hurricanes (SANDY).
America will not get out of the debt crisis till both parties see that it is only by working together they can provide a path of jobs and economic stability. Our nation has become the nation of HATE, driven up from radical party extremist. Politicians whose sole existence in Washington is to say "NO, I wont help Americans to succeed because I HATE the other party, its beliefs and its leader." We must do everything to see the the elected leader fails.
With a approval rating of 12%. Do you (congress) really think you doing the work you were sent there to do. What personal crisis must happen in your life to understand that "what you say" as representatives, matters. It matters because Hate is watered with your words, incubated by your attitudes and harvested by your lack of leadership.
Consider that.
