Both Scotland Yard and the Metropolitan Police have refuted reports on Yahoo.com that signal-blocking technology at Westminster Abbey will make mobile phones there inoperable. The report, picked up by bloggers worldwide, says the action is intended to keep photos and videos from leaking out and to keep ringtones from distracting from the ceremony.

However, CBS was told by Scotland Yard Wednesday night that it was not aware of any such device being installed.

Met police spokesman Eddie Townsend said Thursday morning, "The story is not true, rubbish."

I don't care...I won't care, and just talking about it makes me sick. It's two people's lives, other people don't need to be involved. I don't think it is as popular as the media thinks it will be, I think they play it up with stories like these. I only ever find one or two comments on them and the majority of what I do find is all negative.

I don't see why they would care if pictures and video got out anyway. The whole thing is going to be broadcast on TV and streamed on the Web. As for the ringtones, polite people put their phones on vibrate when in church.
