(CBS) Prince William and his bride-to-be have extended their humble thanks, in advance, to their wedding guests in London.

Britain's royal family released details Thursday of the official wedding program, which includes a written message from the young couple.

"We are both so delighted that you are able to join us in celebrating what we hope will be one of the happiest days of our lives," reads the statement. "The affection shown to us by so many people during our engagement has been incredibly moving, and has touched us both deeply. We would live to take this opportunity to thank everyone most sincerely for their kindness."

The official program is available to view at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding website, or through the Apple iBookstore, but to get an official hard copy, you'll have to wait until Friday morning -- and be in London.

The first thing viewers see upon opening the program is the royal couple's personal message, opposite an official engagement photo.

The program also reveals the royal couple's choice in wedding music, which is heavily laden with classical British compositions, including Greensleeves and a Edward Elgar composition, Serenade for Strings in E minor Op. 20.

On April 29 -- wedding day -- 150,000 hard copies of the program will be available for sale in Green Park, Hyde Park, St. James' Park and Trafalgar Square. According to the Palace, all proceeds from the sale of the programs will go to Prince William and Prince Harry's charitable foundation.

Indeed, the royal wedding was a success. The British noble family captured the attention of many people, and the buzz over the noble wedding was a prime example. Many people watched the wedding of Kate Middleton and Prince William, and several will remember it for years. Unless you are invited, you will not be able to attend this wedding even with a cash advance. The English noble family nevertheless captivated many individuals, as the noble wedding received enough attention. The coverage had been staggering. The wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton had taken the world by storm. It is wonderful that with all the turmoil, war, unemployment news and Donald Trump we at least have some uplifting and happy news to read. Who would not wish the best to a young couple who seem to have so much going for them. Heirs to the greatest monarchy of the Western World; William and Kate have much to look forward to with tomorrow's wedding. I send my love and best wishes to the young couple and tell the rest of the naysayers to lighten up and have a drink!

You sound like a Royal follower....I've wanted to ask this question, If I may....Upon the death of the Queen, why doesn't the throne by-pass Charles, and crown the younger Willian as King, since he seems to have a much closer connection with the subjects, than ole' Charles does....especially, since Camilla is not royal material......do you know the answer ? is it strick succession rules ?

I don't care...I won't care, and just talking about it makes me sick. It's two people's lives, other people don't need to be involved. I don't think it is as popular as the media thinks it will be, I think they play it up with stories like these. I only ever find one or two comments on them and the majority of what I do find is all negative

Talk about a huge waste of money, the Queen cancelled the annual Christmas party/celebration this year, to cut back on expenses in these hard times, but then they go way over the top, in a prince getting married....Do we really care about a gold plated horse drawn carriage carrying royalty ? I don't.

So glad we got rid of kings and queens in the 1700's.
