Watch: Fans hand Steve Nash beer on freeway

(CBS News) Steve Nash, who shocked the basketball world when he signed with the Lakers last week, said he had only two criteria when it became clear he had to find a new team: Nash wanted to be near his three children in Phoenix, and he wanted to play for a winner.

He made no mention of being handed a beer while on the freeway but he can check that off the list too.

Check out the video Nash tweeted of some enthusiastic Lakers fans handing the point guard a beer while on driving on a Los Angeles highway. While the brand (Keystone Light) may not be very Hollywood, the exchange makes for compelling reality TV.

Summed up Nash after receiving the brew in his limo: "The fans have been pretty good so far."
