Watch: Chair-throwing riot at Argentine boxing match
(CBS) The violence in the ring spilled out into the seats at an Argentine boxing match Friday night. Filipino Johnriel Casimero defeated Argentine Luis Lazare by TKO in the 10th round in a club in Buenos Aires. Fans apparently weren't pleased, and they let their feelings known by throwing chairs and refuse on the ring. Some rushed the ring to take swings at Casimero. The video above shows the scene.
Casimero left with a concussion following the mayhem and had to hide under the ring to escape further injury. One of his teammates suffered two broken ribs. The rioting fans are reportedly members of the Teamsters Union, and may have come to the match specifically to cause trouble.
