(CBS/AP) Two women say they were injured when Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh crashed his car into a tree in downtown Portland over the weekend. And one of the women said she fears retaliation from what she said were Suh's family and friends for claiming the circumstances that caused the accident were contrary to what Suh told Portland police, CBSSports.com's Mike Freeman reports.

In an amended incident report from Portland police one of the passengers in the car, an unindentified woman, asked that police remove her name from all the reports out of fear of retaliation. CBSSports.com obtained a copy of the report.

Portland police had originally said there were no injuries in the accident early Saturday. But police said Monday that two passengers later came forward to say they were hurt and left the scene before officers arrived.

Sgt. Pete Simpson says one woman reported bruises and soreness, and the other reported a cut to her forehead and a black eye. Their names were not released.

Suh told police he was trying to avoid a stopped taxicab when he lost control of the 1970 Chevrolet Coupe. The car hit a curb, light pole, drinking fountain and tree.

However, the woman who asked that her name be redacted from the police report claims Suh's unsafe driving caused the wreck, CBSSports.com reports.

Police say Suh was not impaired and was not cited. They are not re-opening the investigation.

Suh declined to comment to KGW-TV.

Duh, it is obvious Suh picked up 2 hookettes and was getting a bj or watching them which caused the wreck. Now being broke hoes they want to be paid for their story, but oh wait, he pounds heads into the ground on camera, and his family defends Him, nah, neba mind, maybe he'll just slip me a few dollas on his own one day, ps: were they girls? did you check? don't worry, they'll sell to the news if he don't pay

I wonder how much these "victims" think a cut, a bruise, some soreness & a blackeye is worth these days? 10 million? There are losers everywhere.

To look at it from both sides, Suh could've lied to stay out of trouble; or the people want their 15 minutes of fame. Either or works.
