Now a leaping carp has laid claim to the most mind-blowing baseball catch in Japanese baseball history.
Masato Akamatsu, who plays centerfield for the Hiroshima Toyo Carp, made the spectacular catch Tuesday night, robbing Yokohoma's Shuichi Murata of a home run.
