"The Voice," "Go On" continue to earn solid ratings; 'New Normal" shows drop

(CBS News) NBC's "The Voice" saw a ratings increase on Tuesday night, while the network's new series "Go On" continued with solid ratings as well.

On Tuesday, "The Voice" rose 13 percent to a 4.5 rating in the adult demographic (18-49). Matthew Perry's new comedy "Go On" only lost a tenth of a point from the week before, earning a 3.3 rating in the demographic, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

But not all the shows on the network performed well, Ryan Murphy's series "The New Normal" was down 12 percent with a 2.2 rating with adults. "Parenthood" dropped 5 percent for a 1.8 rating in the adult demo, according to THR.

Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" season finale saw a slight increase, but was still down 25 percent from last year's season finale, reports the site. The season finale drew in 4.6 million viewers.

The New Normal was such a disappointment. It's characters really overacted their parts. Will and Grace flowed naturally, and the catch lines were complimented with the character's personalities. I think viewers who didn't know any Gay people would be repulsed by what the Gay characters they saw here.
