Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson back together, report says

(CBS News) Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson have reportedly reunited after Stewart's cheating scandal with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.

According toPeople, the "Twilight" co-stars and former couple met up over the weekend in Los Angeles.

An insider told the magazine that they believe the two will get back together.

After photographers caught Stewart and Sanders in a "steamy rendezvous," the 22-year-old actress issued an apology saying, "This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob."

Both have been in the public eye since the scandal promoting their respective films. The last "Twilight" film "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" is set to be released on Nov. 14.

I am happy to see they are working on restoring their relationship. they are young and to bad they can't be left alone. I really think the only ones hurt here were Robert, Kisten and the directors wife. he was an old man bothering a young girl,who is in a fast whirl wind since her fame from Twilight. their young lives have changed due to this and we all know in hollywood staying together is very hard. I know they have made enough money to live the rest of their lives in comfort, to bad they wouldnt go buy an island and live their lives in peace. I just hope its really true they are together. sad to say even i put Rob on a pedastel and who knows what he has done, i mean pictures of him with lindsay l. now thats low. so everyone has something in their closet and we arent all purfect. hopefully they can forgive and forget and let there be NO next time.

I think CBS news should be more careful with your reporting. As I'm sure you are aware this whole drama has been fuelled by highly inaccurate stories fed by 'false' sources that are over interpreted by journalists. In trying not to 'miss out' everyone runs to report a story from another media outlet without any real verification (or common sense). Just putting the tag 'report says' at the end doesn't absolve you from responsibility for what is just gossip.

I agree.. the media can sure screw up lives.. Kristen was the youngest and most vulnerable of all and took the heat for what looks like Sexual Harrassment to me.. He was about twice her age and she's soo young she probably was just flattered that the most important person on the set is the Director and being young mistook his interest as approval.. If you see in every picture he was the aggressor. But when you see pictures of her and Rob, she's where she wants to be and sooo in love. I'm so glad they have a chance to heal. How do the Paps live with themselves publishing dirt on people... And what about the innocent kids they scared their lives for good. Rupert is a predator!!!
