Amanda Bynes ordered by judge not to drive

(CBS News) Amanda Bynes has been told to stay off the road - but she's reportedly not listening.

At a hearing Wednesday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel ordered the actress not to drive without a valid driver's license, People reports.

Bynes' attorney Bob Wilson appeared at the hearing on behalf of the 26-year-old, who did not attend, according to reports.

Bynes' license was suspended after a series of driving-related charges, according to the Los Angeles Times. She is facing a DUI charge (she has pleaded not guilty), and was also charged with two counts of hit-and-run last week.

On Sunday night, Bynes was stopped by police officers in L.A. for driving without her lights on after dark, the Times reports, but the officers never asked for her driver's license. LAPD Lt. Andrew Nieman told the paper the officers informed the actress for safety reasons and are not required to ask for or run a driver's license in such cases.

That, apparently, was not her only time behind the wheel this week. TMZ reports that Bynes got into a minor fender-bender on Thursday, tapping a parked car with the bumper of her black BMW 5-series. The website also published photos that it says are of Bynes "driving aimlessly for hours" on Tuesday and smoking from some sort of pipe.

The actress' next hearing is set for Sept. 21, according to E! News. It will reportedly address the conditions of her freedom while awaiting trial and her bail.
