(CBS News) Oprah Winfrey leads Forbes' list of highest-paid celebrities for the fourth consecutive year, with an estimated $165 million earned between May 2011 and May 2012.

Although she wrapped her long-running talk show in 2011, Winfrey, 58, continues to rake in big bucks thanks to her magazine, satellite radio show and her cable network OWN - not to mention her involvement with "Dr. Phil," "Rachael Ray Show" and "The Dr. Oz Show."

Filmmaker Michael Bay landed in second place on Forbes' list with an estimated $160 million during the same period based on earnings from "Transformers: Dark of the Moon," which grossed more than $1.1 billion worldwide.

In third place was director Steven Speilberg with an estimated $130 million. Not only was he behind four new TV series, but Speilberg also released the films "The Adventures of Tintin" and "War Horse" in 2011.

Closing out the top five were filmmaker Jerry Bruckheimer with an estimated $115 million and rapper/producer Dr. Dre with $110 million.

Also making Forbes' top 10 were Tyler Perry, Howard Stern, James Patterson, Simon Cowell and George Lucas.

Forbes determines the highest-paid celebrities based on upfront pay, profit participation, residuals, endorsements and advertising work. The magazine's editors talk with managers, agents and lawyers to gather estimates.

Oprah never had any talent...she made it this far because of fools that thought she had talent. Her spin offs are further proof of folly. Interesting this story doesn't list the man who contributed to the deaths of a number of people in his plastic covered sweat lodge, James R. Ray, or the guy who duped her great mind into thinking he wrote a book...then there's the controversy over the African girl's school.

Jealous much? If I was her I wouldn't care what haters such as yourself is saying about me as laugh all the way to the bank. She is smart enough to get a majority of people to support her and help make her rich. Could you say the same in your life?

You sound like another democrat hating the wealthy for the work they done to get there. It is most likely you'll tell us who she stole it from next!

It's funny whenever someone does really well, people feel the need to bash them.

OWN is doing just fine. And come fall when all the new shows arrive, it will do a whole lot better. OWN has already received an award for one of it's shows.

It usually takes YEARS for ANY network to finally start doing well.

It's always the LOSERS that b*tch.

Is Oprah one of those 1 percenters Obama and the libs love to vilify and target or is she exempt because she is a democrat?

...the 1% types only matter if they're Independents or Republicans...it's OK to be in the 1% as a Democrat...protesters don't mind them...

Fools flock together. How do you get politics into a conversation about making a lot of money?
