New "Dexter" season 7 trailer arrives online
Jennifer Carpenter and Michael C. Hall in a scene from the seventh season of "Dexter."
/ Showtime(CBS News) A new trailer has arrived online for the seventh season of "Dexter."
The two-minute clip establishes one of the central questions Dexter (Michael C. Hall) will be dealing with in the upcoming episodes (SPOILERS).
In the trailer, Debra (Jennifer Carpenter) agonizes over what to do after discovering her brother's "Dark Passenger" during the sixth season's finale.
"My name has lieutenant in front of it," she tells him. "I can't just turn my back on this."
This leaves Dexter contemplating, in one of his trademark voiceovers: "The only thing worse than not knowing what she'll do, is not knowing what I'll do."
"Dexter" returns to Showtime on Sunday, Sept. 30, at 9 p.m. ET.

- I love Dexter and look forward to it every season. This season I was anxious about what the writers are going to do now that Deb knows his secret. I truly do not wish for much of the concept of this series to change. Some is good, but Deb and Dexter need to come to some kind of understanding so it can, for the most part, continue in the same way. Obviously, this cannot continue exactly the way it was but I am hoping they haven't ruined what makes this show special! Please don't lose that by adding this element to the puzzle.
