The gals also helped Al Roker do the weather on NBC's "Today" show and sat down with David Letterman on CBS' "Late Show." During their Letterman interview, the gals talked about which sports they would play if they weren't already gymnasts. The team also talked about Maroney's "not impressed face," the pouty look she made on the Olympics medal stand.
While in New York, the girls had a little free time, too:
Just had a blast shopping at C Wonder in Soho! Got some awesome clothes and it's my new favorite store!

By Wednesday afternoon, some of the girls had already parted ways:
Saying goodbye to the girls was quite difficult even though I've been with them 24/7 all month & I'll see them in two weeks...

I have a feeling that I will have withdrawals from my team mates during the next two weeks ??

Douglas, who became the first African-American gymnast to score gold in the all-around competition, started the busy week off with a visit to "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."
