Marvin Hamlisch funeral services planned

(CBS News) Marvin Hamlisch, who composed the scores for dozens of movies including "The Sting" and won a Tony Award for "A Chorus Line," will be remembered at funeral services planned for next week.

Representatives for the famed composer told the New York Times that the visitations and funeral services will both be open to the public.

Public visitations will take place at the Frank E. Campbell Funeral Chapel in New York on Sunday and Monday between 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., the Times reports.

The funeral, which is also open to the public, will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Temple Emanu-El on 65th Street and 5th Avenue.

Hamlisch, who won three Academy Awards, four Emmys, a Tony and three Golden Globes during his career, died in Los Angeles on Monday after a brief illness. He was 68.
