Robert Pattinson steps out without Kristen Stewart

(CBS News) Robert Pattinson isn't going to let a break-up get in the way of his social life.

The actor was spotted out at a bar over the weekend, two weeks after his long-time girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, confirmed reports that she had cheated on him with director Rupert Sanders.

According to Us Weekly, Pattinson went out Saturday night with some friends to Deer Lodge, a bar in Ojai, Calif.

A witness said, Pattinson had "a few drinks and laughs," adding, "He looked like a guy that was just trying to enjoy himself and get away . . . seems like a good kid!"

There have been reports that Pattinson, 26, has been staying at Reese Witherspoon's California ranch since the split. Radar Online reports that Stewart, 22, has been staying with her producer friend, Giovanni Agnelli.

Pattinson will appear on "Good Morning America" on Aug. 15 to discuss the movie, "Cosmopolis."

Sorry, Emmitori1, if my partner hurts me by cheating, there is no trust left. There is no relationship with me left. As a previous poster said, my feeling is: Fine, you want to be with somebody else, go be with them. I'll survive. But you don't get to be with me and cheat. You don't get to disrespect me and you don't get to dishonor our relationship. By cheating, you only make a mockery of whatever good I thought there was in our relationship. If you want to be with someone else, do the honorable thing, break it off with me first.

Never take a cheater back! I already tried that path, it will happen again and then you will really hate yourself for it. There is no cheating in LOVE. Don't fool yourself into believing anything different, no matter how they may say they learned from their mistake.

Actually, I hope he does NOT take her back. There are two things I would NEVER tolerate in a relationship. Abuse (of any kind) and cheating. If you want to be with somebody else just say the word and don't let the door hit ya in the azz on the way out, but you CAN'T have your cake and eat it too. If a relationship is lacking or just not working BE HONEST ABOUT IT. Sneaking around hoping not to get caught SHOULD come back to bite ya!
