A total of 17 additional security guards were on the scene at Greenhouse's reopening on Tuesday, reports The New York Daily News.
"We will be focused on providing a safe and fun atmosphere for our customers," the club said in a statement.
A judge ruled Monday that Greenhouse should get its liquor license back while State Liquor Authority hearings play out, according to the Associated Press. The State Liquor Authority suspended its liquor license last month, saying the club has had a history of fights and assaults. The judge ruled that Greenhouse must inspect bags, enhance security and replace glasses with plastic cups.
Greenhouse hyped up its return on Twitter:
NYC, we are open tomorrow! Come & play!-- WIP NYC (@WIPNewYork) July 10, 2012
The basement lounge, W.i.P., is expected to reopen Wednesday with music by DJ Josh Hamilton.
The club's return comes after the June 14 scuffle, which left Brown with a cut on his chin. Drake's representatives have said the R&B singer didn't injure anyone.
NBA star Tony Parker was among the people hurt during the incident. He suffered a scratched cornea when flying glass hit his left eye and has sued Greenhouse for $20 million. The French Basketball Federation said Friday that doctors concluded Parker can participate in the London Olympics this summer.
