The first announced date -- Aug. 18 in Virginia Beach, Va . -- is already on sale.
D'Angelo is coming off a 12-year hiatus from music. The reclusive singer performed his first shows in the United States in years at Bonnaroo in June. A performance at the BET Awards and an appearance at the Essence Music Festival followed.
He's also slated to play Jay-Z's inaugural Made in America festival in Philadelphia this September.
