(CBS News) It's a boy for actor Josh Lucas and his wife, Jessica.

The couple welcomed son Noah Rev Maurer on Friday in New York, his rep confirmed to People.

Noah is the first child for the "Sweet Home Alabama" actor and his wife. The couple married in March, the same month they revealed they were expecting a baby.

Lucas most recently appeared on NBC's "The Firm." His wife is a writer.
