(CBS News) Ever wanted to see a young Ryan Gosling dancing in MC Hammer pants? If so, today's your lucky day.

Video has surfaced of the actor performing at a Mormon talent show in 1991.

In the three-and-a-half minute clip, Gosling, now 31, sings "When a Man Loves a Woman" and busts a move to C+C Music Factory's "Everybody Dance Now" with his sister Mandi. The two donned matching outfits for the choreographed routine.

Gary Saldivia, whose family owns the footage, told Yahoo that he grew up with Gosling and attended the same church. He said he found the tape while going through old family belongings.

"It was collecting dust in the garage," he said. "[Gosling] had some moves even as a kid!"

The video, posted on YouTube Monday, has racked up more than 490,000 views as of Wednesday afternoon.

Gosling would go on to perform for much wider audiences when he joined the cast of Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club" in 1993. The Oscar nominee will appear next in the crime drama "Gangster Squad," alongside Emma Stone, Josh Brolin and Sean Penn.

I would like make a correction on the information provided in this article. This video was actually taken at a dance recital performed at Top Hat Dance School, which my family owned & operated. Ryan is dancing with another dance student, Andrea Bourdon, not his sister.
