(CBS/AP) AUCKLAND, New Zealand - Pop star Lady Gaga has been struck on the head by a pole while performing a concert in New Zealand.

The singer was hit Sunday during the third of three shows in Auckland.

Clips posted online show a backup performer accidentally striking Gaga with the set prop while removing it from the central stage. Gaga, holding a mock machine gun, staggers and rubs her head before briefly leaving the stage. She continued the show, part of a world tour.

Gaga's makeup artist Tara Savelo wrote Monday on Twitter: "Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay ... cant believe she finished the show."

Gaga's New Zealand publicist Bridget de Launay said Monday she was seeking comment from tour organizers, adding the Auckland shows were sellouts and a "huge success."

The singer's world tour got off to a rocky start in Asia early this spring with authorities in several countries calling for a ban of the concerts which they called provocative and risque. In fact, concerts in Indonesia were cancelled following threats by Islamic hard-liners, who called her a "devil worshipper."

A pole hit her? Wonder what the Czechs thought of the performance.... The hit was likely the high point of the show.....

Kudos to her for finishing the show. Glade some artists are still committed to the people who pay good money to see them perform. I don't know why some people give her such grief about her garb. We have had so many performers over the years who dressed wild. Just for example Elton John, Kiss, David Bowie,
and many more. They all had themes and dressed for parts to entertain. Why we think Gaga is over the top is beyond me?

She has repeatedly shown that she believes "the show must go on" and has on several other occasions finished her show when others would have gone diva and cut it. I like her. I want to marry her when I grow up. I'm 55 now, so maybe in 2 more years.

Her shows are getting a little routine and boring anyway. I wish she'd start to show her talent instead of just the talents of her production staff, costumers and choreographers. I'm starting to think Gaga is just window dressing and absolutely any entertainer could take her place and no one would notice the difference.
