"America's Got Talent": Granny G and Turf impress judges

(CBS News) "America's Got Talent" continued Tuesday night with another round of auditions - this time in San Francisco with judges Howard Stern, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel watching closely.

The two-hour episode featured everyone from an 80-year-old female rapper to an extreme contortionist and practically everything in between. They're all competing for a $1 million grand prize.

"Granny G," who entered the stage with a walker, rapped about family values and "horny boys" needing to be real men. She's going to the next round.

The student dance group, Funk Beyond Control, also impressed the judges enough to make it to Las Vegas.

"I thought you were real compelling," Stern told the group.

The 21-year-old extreme contortionist, Turf, did body tricks that you didn't even know were possible - all to the tune of Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow." He will also head to Vegas.

Stern told him, "You are a true original, and I think you're what we're looking for."

Other acts advancing include opera singer Luis Meneghan, balancing act Cristin Sandu and David Burleigh, who did impressions of Nicolas Cage, Bruce Willis and Jack Black.

"America's Got Talent" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET/PT and Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
