(CBS News) An attorney for John Travolta is firing back after a second unidentified masseur filed a sexual battery and assault suit against the actor.

The second incident allegedly took place at an unnamed Atlanta resort on Jan. 28, 2012, according to documents obtained by Radar.

Both the first and second accusers, who filed the lawsuits anonymously, accuse Travolta of improper behavior during massage sessions. The plaintiffs are seeking $2 million each in damages.

Travolta's attorney, Marty Singer, called the new allegations "absurd and ridiculous."

"This second 'anonymous' claim is just as absurd and ridiculous as the first one," he said in a statement, according to TMZ. "The attorney who filed the lawsuit on behalf of his second anonymous client, who does not want to disclose his name, although he is required to do so, was notified that his first client's claims were totally false and fabricated, since our client was not in L.A. when anonymous 'Doe #1' claims he interacted with John Travolta."

Singer added, "Our client will be fully vindicated in court on both of these absurd and fictional claims."

The first accuser claimed in a lawsuit filed last week that Travolta made unwanted sexual advances and touches during a Jan. 16, 2012, massage appointment at a hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

A rep for Travolta called the claim "a complete fiction and fabrication," and said the actor wasn't in Los Angeles at the time of the alleged incident. TMZ has posted a photo and restaurant receipt on its website that purportedly place Travolta in New York on Jan. 16 - the day the first plaintiff claims he was assaulted.

Attorney Okorie Okoroch, who represents both plaintiffs, said more accusers could come forward.

"There's a bunch of accusers against Travolta who have similar accusations," he told People. "Many have contacted me, and I'm still vetting their stories. More defendants might come forward soon."

i don't believe it today, i didn't believe it yesterday and i won't believe it tomorrow. Mr. Travolta is a regular guy, just like any of us. down to earth, friendly, kind, generous, without any preconceived delusions of grandeur. that said, lay off. he and his family don't deserve this.

slownewsday4prez: I wouldn't assume jmack was referring whether or not Travolta is gay, but perhaps to the details of the alleged incidents. (Although, after repeatedly denying the rumors for years and entering into a heterosexual marriage, if he is gay I wouldn't give him too many brownie points for courage--even if I do understand the pressures he'd be under to hide it)

what surprised me is, you can file a civil suit for monetary indemnity against a celebrity under the name of John Doe. clearly, the defendant (i.e. the celebrity) has more to lose than the "John Doe". if the defendant does not know who the plaintiff is, how could he/she put up a vigorous defense? all John Doe needs is an attorney willing to file the paper and go to the media... then MONEY!!!!!

Rumors have surfaced many times in the past. I think he's AC/DC. He's contributed greatly to the entertainment industry. I wish the best for him and his family. This latest wave has to be tough on all of them.

In cases like this, the people overseas know before we do whether some guy has a hankering for other guys. It would be interesting to know what the people overseas think. My wife told me long before Rock Hudson was outed that he was Katoy (Gay in her language). They knew overseas.

The rumors regarding John Travolta's sexual orientation have been around for his entire career. If he is other than heterosexual and because of his leading man status, it was more than likely recommended he hide his sexual orientation early in his career. I've always loved John Travolta. It is my sincerest hope that he didn't marry for the sake of creating a false public image to protect his acting status in Hollywood. Should any of these ugly allegations prove to be true, there is a hard lesson to be learned here. My heart goes out to his little girl.

It's blatantly obvious to me that Okorie Okoroch is an ambulance chaser, and these "anonymous" people are either coming forth because they think they have an easy route to get a couple million dollars, or they were approached by this attorney with promises of wealth if they did what he said.

I know Mr. Travolta is a celebrity...seems larger than life, yes...but the fact is he's a man, human as any of us...and I have yet to meet a single man who can be in New York and LA at the same time.

Personally, I would love to see an investigation on this attorney done...it would be interesting to know where he got his degree...if he's got a hidden record for fraud...and his success rates in court.

I also hope that Mr. Travolta's lawyer buries this ambulance chaser, and his gang of pseudo-actors. Wouldn't mind seeing a counter suit, too...I think a message needs to be sent to the world: Just because you need money doesn't give you the right to lie, slander, and destroy a person's reputation...as well as practically steal from them under the barest veneer of legality through the courts.

I always though Travolta was a little light in the loafers, too bad his wife seems very kind.
