"I'm proud to do whatever I can to support the president... as long as no one asks me to sing," Clooney joked to ET. (Mr. Obama has shown off his singing skills twice in recent months.)
Entertainment Weekly also confirmed the fundraiser Wednesday. The tickets reportedly cost $40,000 each, with proceeds going to the Obama Victory Fund - a joint fundraising committee of Obama for America, the Democratic National Committee, and several state Democratic parties.

So you and your rich pals are having a party for Obama.
Going to raise some money for his campaign?
We taxpayers are going to pay for his transportation to your "party"
and for his security,
What's your motive for publicly promoting and supporting this guy?
What's in it for you and your elite buddies?
Obama has partied his way through the last 3.5 years.
The economy stinks.
He has no idea how to fix it- except of course, borrowing more money from China and squandering hardworking taxpayer money on his failed policies.
Because you have money, you are or will become an insider. Obama is therefore indebted to you.
Whatever your agenda is he will listen and you will have an advantage over the rest of us- "Poor folk". This stinks.
I was an admired and fan, you need me I don't need you.
