Madonna to Britney Spears: Kiss me again

(CBS News) It's been nine years since Madonna and Britney Spears locked lips onstage at MTV's Video Music Awards, and it appears that neither one has forgotten about it.

The moment came up as the two pop stars chatted on Twitter earlier this week, after Spears congratulated Madonna on her new album, "MDNA."

Spears wrote, "Love the new album - every single song is incredible. Congrats girl!"

Madonna quickly replied in thanks, offering Spears the chance to lock lips again:

@britneyspears please come on stage and kiss me again. I miss you!!
