HBO unveils first trailer for Aaron Sorkin's "The Newsroom"

/ AP(CBS News) HBO has released the first trailer for Aaron Sorkin's upcoming drama, "The Newsroom."
The series, set to premiere on June 24, is a behind-the-scenes look at the making of a cable news show.
Jeff Daniels stars as popular cable news anchor William McAvoy. The cast also includes Emily Mortimer, Alison Pill, Olivia Munn, Dev Patel and Sam Waterson. Jane Fonda also has a recurring guest role as the CEO of the network's parent company.
Sorkin, who won an Oscar for penning "The Social Network" screenplay, will executive produce and write the series, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
"The Newsroom" is the latest in Sorkin's behind-the-scenes TV series, following "Sports Night" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." He also brought viewers into the Oval Office with "The West Wing."
