(CBS News) The star-studded 47th annual Academy of Country Music Awards saw big wins by Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift and Jason Aldean and Kelly Clarkson.
Really? Taylor Swift? She cannot sing! I have seen her live twice and both times her performance was horrible. The tickets were free and I should have asked for money back! She cannot sing without being dubbed. Anyone else but here...geesh
I'm not sure what the "C" in ACM stands for, but it sure isn't "Country." If you like re-hashed 1980's pop music, just tune in to any "country" station today. They should be prohibited from using the word "country" to describe the pap they sell.
I am SO sick of Taylor Swift. She is over-exposed, over-played. Let others step in the spotlight and win once in awhile. She is NOT the be-all and end-all in country music.
ERIC CHURCH is the best in country now. He should have won an award. I am so disappointed that the "commercial country" people won over him. Just goes to show you that you cannot win awards playing songs on the back of your truck's tailgate, you have to sell yourself like a piece of meat. The meat of the music should be enough, but it's not in the LA LA LAND of VEGAS. You win every day on my stereo; ERIC CHURCH, so KEEP ON KEEPING ON!
