Khloe Kardashian quits PETA after Kim Kardashian flour-bombed

(CBS News) Khloe Kardashian says she is cutting ties with PETA after learning the woman who flour-bombed her sister Kim last week is linked to the animal rights organization.

The reality star's announcement comes four years after she posed nude for PETA's "I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" campaign.

"I just received word that the woman responsible has very close ties to PETA, despite PETA publicly stating otherwise," the 27-year-old wrote on her blog. "Not only has PETA lied to the public, but they have proved that they support this kind of behavior."

"I've been a vocal supporter of PETA for a long time but I have also been very vocal about anti-bullying, so this was a huge disappointment for me. As you all know, I don't condone violence and bullying and what happened last Thursday was just that. I am absolutely disgusted by their behavior," she continued.

The "Khloe & Lamar" star also wrote, "We all need to practice what we preach. I will still continue to NOT wear fur, but I will no longer support PETA. Bullying and harassment is NEVER a solution, and I won't be a part of any organization that thinks otherwise."

According to TMZ, the woman responsible for the flour-bombing is a "militant" member of PETA who once received an award from the organization for her work. The animal rights group has denied being responsible for the attack, TMZ added.

On Tuesday, PETA responded to Khloe Kardashian's decision to end her support.

"We appreciate that Khloe will remain on the animals' side by not wearing fur - that's what counts," the organization said in a statement, obtained by People. "If one of our volunteers is responsible, it doesn't alter the fact that no animal deserves to be electrocuted, shot, or poisoned for a bit of fur clothing. Khloe is just defending her sister, and we know she has a good heart, so we wish her well. We just wish she also had more influence on her sister."

Kim Kardashian reportedly now wants to press charges against the woman who threw flour at her, after initially telling deputies she did not want to pursue the matter.

I am an annual contributor to PETA, only because of their work with saving elephants. I am often turned off by their deceit, and approach to many matters they tend too. Before I mailed my check, I wrote to PTEA asking how they planned to handle the permit to kill to American Bald Eagles. The silence was deafening. I WILL NEVER SUPPORT PETA AGAIN. They have convenient animal protect and with that, they can go F@#k Themselves. PETA is no better than a corrupt politician; lies, lies and more lies.

Of course, a PR stunt. I guess the focus group said that Kim was scene as annoying so a stunt, designed to make Kim look more victimized had to be planted.
Ridiculous. However, Khloe Raldan Odum is still a big twit for allowing herself to come off like the aggressive perpetrator. Clearly, the Raldan's are not a good as the Kardashians trio or the Jenner duo .... Khloe still odd woman out.

Who cares what Khloe Roldan Odum has to say ... it after all, is only what the mother tells her to say as one must protect Kim ... the main money maker of the shills. Khloe isn't even a Kardashian just some bastard from the mom's hair stylist and doesn't have one original thought in that large, empty skull. The assailant's sister Michelle Cho was on the kardashian's TV show so I still think that this was s stunt.
As far as her outrage that PETA bullied her sister, what kind of organization did she think she was signing on to when she posed for their poster? The kardashians love publicity and so does PETA, this incident is perfect for both of them IMO.
