Snooki: Engaged and pregnant?

(CBS News) While we await word from Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi on recent pregnancy reports, a new twist has been thrown into the mix: Sources now say the pint-sized star is engaged.

The "Jersey Shore" star has yet to confirm either report, but insiders tell both E! News and People magazine that Snooki's boyfriend (and reported baby daddy), Jionni LaValle, recently popped the question.

Photographers snapped Snooki with a diamond ring on her left hand while she was strolling around New York City on Monday.

If the proposal report is true, it probably didn't come as too much of a surprise to the 24-year-old Snooki.

"I know he's [LaValle] the one so I know the ring's gonna come soon," she told People in mid-January.

In early February, amidst initial pregnancy rumors, Snooki told "Good Morning America," "I definitely do want kids, but I'm not pregnant."

Snooki and her "Jersey Shore" co-hort, "JWoww" Farley, are currently filming a spin-off series in Jersey City, N.J. LaValle was spotted moving boxes into the girls' home over the weekend.

Meanwhile, Snooki's Twitter page provides zero clues about the latest engagement report. She tweeted today:
