(CBS) Move over, Hollywood. Monaco royalty has entered the building. Prince Albert II of Monaco and his wife, Princess Charlene, walked the red carpet at the Academy Awards on Sunday.

The prince, son of Oscar winner Grace Kelly who gave up her film career when she wed the ruler of Monaco, said it was impossible to be at the Academy Awards ceremony without remembering his late mother.

Albert married Princess Charlene, a former Olympic swimmer, in a lavish three-day ritual in July.

Many people were wondering what the Monaco royals were doing at the Academy Awards. They were guests of Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Charlene looks like the most unhappy princess ever. Every picture I see of her, she wears this pained smile and she looks like she's gonna cry.

I'd cry too if I was forced to marry a man with two illegitimate children.

He is no Prince. He spends zero time with his children and he is a liar.

Poor Charlene, she made a bad choice.
