Former nightclub owner Adam Hock was arraigned Sunday on charges of assaulting the prince and three friends at the Double Seven nightspot in Manhattan's Meatpacking District. The 24-year-old prince suffered cuts to his face during the incident.

An attorney who represents the prince tells The Associated Press that Casiraghi was treated at a hospital and released after Saturday's fight. Attorney Richard Golub says Casiraghi's group did not "instigate anything" or provoke the attack.

But Hock tells the New York Post the prince and his entourages "were being completely obnoxious," verbally abusing women with him.

Also punched in the clash was shipping heir Stavros Niarchos III.

I'd be willing to bet that this all began as Hart and Borromeo's idea! The girlfreinds of Pierre and Stavros got a little catty and felt like they should one-up those fashion models sitting at the owners table. Got their wimpy royal boyfreinds involved in the drama too, made a half-ass attempt at it and failed in the worst possible way! Probably explains why their talkin' trash on Twitter after the fact. I hope Hocks lawyer drags both of them into court!

I know you got some tough ass folks in NY and that is where my Italian family were dropped off in the 1800s; Ellis Island and they where bad ***** in Italy...Fresh Start. Then we came out west to Nevada. When I see pictures of my Grandad, he had plenty of cuts from knife fights and fist fights, because it was the way to settle scores. He was in the Bar and Gambling business and not one to be screwed with. Now this here Prince(whatever met-up with a man from what is said, that could not tolerate abusive BS towards women folk. In these parts most counties in Nevada, I would say, we feel the same and would have done the same. (I am not talking about city folks as we only have two major cities and Las Vegas still has some respected men who without a thought, would go after any man who shows disrespect for a women. I had a look at this MAN who kicked butt and if one ours and him had to get it on, I do believe it would be a draw and messy. The problem today is, a man can not have things settled without having attorneys and a whole lot of BS laws keeping us from settling these types of confrontations in just a good old fashioned fist fight. Attorneys and BS laws, the thorn under the saddle number one. Like my dad who is 89 told me, Son, leave the school grounds and the both of you agree on the time and place and let the fist fly...do not start with BS talk and a push, but with a punch and get it done. I am an old guy, but learned the WWII ways of Hand-to-Hand/Trench combative fighting...To the point and not so sweet...My hand is out to you and well done. Remember, Americans Do Not Take Any Sh.t. Even great poets understood what the term "Pioneer" really was all about...GUTS! Oh yeah, this has always been, no matter when and where. Hell, look at the Roman Empire. Thanks for Latin, I could not have gone past more than four letters at the most, so I did my best to keep it simple stupid for you scholars out yonder; entomology thing.

Pierre Casiraghi is not a prince. He holds no royal title because his father was untitled. Except in special circumstances (as when the mother is a sovereign), titles in Europe descend from the father only.

These things happen in bars. Some how or another I have been lucky so far. I no longer go to bars.
Once in a place called "The Border Bar" on US 82 just as I was leaving Texas, As I was ordering a beer at the bar, I saw it coming. I asked the bar tender if I could have my beer to go, and I left before it could happen.

Why oh why, does any country still go along with the "royalty" baloney in this day and age? Those people (the "royals") are no different than any other human on the planet. When will their "subjects" wake up?! This is one of my most infuriating pet peeves.
Down with ALL "royalty"!

No one in western constitutional monarchies claims they are "different," or superior or anything of the kind. But monarchies provide the citizens of the countries that have them with a variety of things: a focus for a sense of national identity, history, tradition, and patriotism, for one thing. Many people find that quite valuable. In any case, as I've posted elsewhere, Pierre Casiraghi isn't a prince, he is not royal.
