(CBS) The Miranda Lambert/Chris Brown feud continues.

It all began on Monday, the day after the Grammys, when the country singer sent out tweets questioning Brown's presence at the ceremony, since his 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

Lambert, who is married to "The Voice" coach Blake Shelton, tweeted to her more than 600,000 followers: "How dang long did they give Nicki Minaj to do whatever that was? Strange. And Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl..."

Brown performed twice at the awards show and picked up a Grammy for best R&B album.

He fired back on Twitter saying, "HATE ALL U WANT BECUZ I GOT A GRAMMY Now! That's the ultimate F--- OFF!" But the tweet was soon deleted, and replaced with, "I'M BACK SO WATCH MY BaCK as I walk away from all this negativity #teambreezygrammy," which now has also been deleted.

Lambert then took to the social media site again to respond to his tweets.

I don't by far condone domestic abuse but, I have to ask.. where has Miranda Lambert been the past 3 years? Another thing because of the incident he's suppose to take anything anyone say about him. He's serving his punishment that was deemed by the court. I don't see anything about Nicki M., she tweeted a comment, she just didn't @ her or all of the ones that had something to say, she gave them the middle finger. Miranda Lambert, the bible don't have a section for big sin or little sin, in God's eyesight sin is sin. In a interview you in your own words stated that you knew Blake Sheldon was married because you had seen his wife and him on the front cover of a country magazine and you also said that of all people you KNEW having an affair was wrong, yet you did so there is a commandment that say, thou shall not commit adultery... I wonder what's Blake Sheldon ex- wife take on you playing holier than thou!

@kabebodama..its not important to me what you think of my statement--its a blog_get it?

So don't take it personal and be LESs emotional..and its not my words but words of other males as I stated in my comments..and no I don't condone violence and I don't need you to believe me either..

Oh and BTW.. all that silly-ish..you FEEL Mr. Brown doesn't deserve a Grammy because of his Past? Speak volumes of your ignorance to the zillion power.. its CALLED forgiveness and redeemption to prove at this point Mr. brown is a better man..

Maybe if you understood that.. you could understand WHY he got the GRAMMY.. but of course you would have to understand what forgivness is.. and what redeemption is.. and apparently you're still STUCK on stupid.. but Mr. Brown got the grammy..and what do you have? Beside HATE..and unforgivness?

..he got the grammy for his TALENT....which has NOTHING to do with his penalty of five years probation FOR THE MISTAKE he made..and I certain you have made mistakes too..and wanted to be forgiven... OR maybe Not since you're into HATE and unforgivness..

.. get a clue and stop wishing the worst for people who make a mistake.. bottom line Rhianna should have never slap Mr. Brown several times before..where she wasn't incontrol of her emotions either..but that's Ok because he's female? But not Ok because he's Male.. both were ar fault PERIOD! Irregardless if it was right or wrong as matter of opinions..

..the state of california dealt with Mr. Brown and Rihanna had no problem with it.. in fact they are seeing each other again.. GET over it or go and talk to Rhianna why she is seeing Mr. Bown which is NONE of your business.. get a life and move on..or better yet.. tell women to stop beating males and vice versa.. doesn't matter whose the bigger perpetrator of violence..get a clue..!!

Chris Brown is a crazy guy! How do you do that to a woman. He beat, punched, bit and scratched Rihanna WHILE he was driving. He left contusions, swellings and even a chipped tooth. You can see the whole story and the pictures here. VIEWER DISCRETION IS ADVISED:

I think she is childish for even tweeting anything about it. If she still has an issue with that then she should not have gone to the Grammys she had her choice and she chose to go and sit through the performances. I dont understand the logic behind individuals voicing negative opinions about situations that have nothing to do with them and do not have any direct impact on their day to day lives. Rihanna has forgiven him long ago so I dont understand why she cares so much. If anyone should have issue with it, its Rihanna. Chris needs to just learn to let people talk without responding, that was her point, to provoke a response and in the end he is the one that looks bad. He needs to just focus on music and whatever other projects he has going on. Let his talent speak for itself. Forget her. I am sure she is not perfect herself. She has nothing to do with whom they choose to perform so get over it. Be mad over something that directly affects you like the state of this country!

I get Miranda's poin (eww), but they both acted childishly. Isn't Miranda 40 or whatever? Twitter is not the place for this. Someone take Chris' ipad, this child needs therapy.

Miranada, really?
Get over yourshelf..
No one cares what you think of Mr. Brown ..

If you are your husband has a problem with the Grammy's program line-up..take it up with the Grammy board of trustee's..not with Mr. Chris Brown.

Chris has the Grammy and rightfully so.. voted as such by his peers-the Grammy's constitutes.. and so what Mr. brown did in his past is his PAST.. and he has paid the penalty for it and as far as we know has redeemed himshelf.. and guess what? Rumor is that he and Rihianna are back together in private becaue of those who think like you. if the rumor is true..its their business, not you or I..or anyone else business..

..so if you Miranda can cast the first stone? do so ...

Why is she wasting her time talking about rubbish.. The PAST? Jeaously stinks to high heaven..

He hit a girl and AND? And a girl hit him, AND?.. no female should EVER hit a male either in my book..or vice-versa ..

..what makes people think its OK for a female to hit a adult male? Explain that will someone? No ladies you don't get a pass because you're female..to where you can just strike another male and HOPE he doesn't kick your butt in return..

There are some adult males who will tell you.. I won't hit or strike a WOMAN(because real women don't hit men).. but I will kick a b*t*h's a&& if she attacked me ..

I don't condone violence of any type unless it's a life threatening situation in defense or to protect.. man.. woman .. child or chick.. either and its going down.. if my life is threaten as DO or die situation...

After reading your long-winded, bloated post, I have to say you, truly are no gentleman. "b*t*h a&&" - what kind of description of a woman is that. Yes, woman do hit men, but the greater perpetrators of physical violence is in fact men and if Chris Brown had been truly been in check of his emotions he wouldn't have beaten Rhianna silly. Whether we like Rhianna, Brown, Lambert or whatever irrelevant celebrity is speaking - Brown literally got away with his violence with a slap on the wrist (and Rhianna's) and the celebrity go right along with them; glorifying his stupidity with an award. And YOU "don't condone violence of any type - yeah right....
