(CBS) Kim Kardashian is Allure magazine's latest cover girl, and the reality star is shown wearing little-to-no makeup for the March issue.
Kardashian talked to the magazine about life post-divorce from NBA player Kris Humpheries. The events leading up their split were documented on the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" spinoff show "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."
"Is it tough to watch [the show]? Yeah. Tough to see an unhappy time in your life," Kardashian told the magazine of the show. "Will I be more private of a person? Am I more guarded? Absolutely. But, also, I'm a firm believer that my show is who I am."
Kardashian also told the magazine that she initially thought having her wedding be documented on national TV would be good for posterity. "When I saw Khloe and Lamar get married - and they had their wedding on TV - I thought, Oh, my gosh, that's so exciting! That's what I want! If you were to ask me now, that's not what I want."
"I would just want it to be so special, with our family and close friends, and that's it. Somewhere on a deserted island, very private," she continued to the magazine. "No cameras."
The issue will hit newsstands on Feb. 21.
