Beyonce, Jay-Z file application to trademark Blue Ivy's name
Beyonce is joined by husband Jay-Z, as she arrives at the 66th Annual Golden Globe Awards in Beverly Hills.
(Credit: Getty)They filed the application on Jan. 26 for products -- and there's speculation they plan to use it for a line of baby-related products, carriages, baby cosmetics and diaper bags, according to the Washington Post.

It's a good thing the couple were quick to trademark the name. Other people have tried to cash in on the newborn, filing applications for variations on the name. But they've been denied. The trademark office said it's reserved for a "very famous infant," the Post reports.
